This is what my car looked like when I bought it. Can you imagine anybody doing this to a Corvette? I drove it around for the first summer looking like this, just for the fun of it. Everybody thought I was pretty stupid to be seen in a car like this. I bought the car with a trashed engine so I had a ZZ4 crate motor put in.

Over the winter I removed all that awful gold, sold the wheels and monster wing (the wing is now on a Toyota and the wheels are on a Caddy, haha), upgraded the brakes to Doug Rippie Grand Sports with Performance Friction Z pads, and put in a TPIS roll bar with 5 point harnesses.

I have fun autocrossing my car. This shot was taken at the Dakota Tech. Center coarse. Notice my car number. That way if I'm upside down in the ditch it is the same number. Hahahahaha. Check page 2 for some interior shots and page 3 for engine mods. ![]() John Boos takes 2nd overall at the '03 One Lap of America!! Here he is just before heading out onto the track in the fog and rain at Road America. That's his co-driver, Ron Marks, putting the good stuff in the tank. And that's Jackie (his fiance, hehehe) telling him to go fast and stay away from the walls. The weather was awful, rain and fog. The car was put together very quickly at the end and there were some problems with some things which kept John from getting first overall. I think he did a great job and Minnesota is very proud of him. Way to go John! Can I be your co-driver next year? ![]() We won a Vespa! Yee-haw. I signed us up for a drawing that AM1500 radio was giving away. The show is on from 2:00-5:00 Monday-Friday. The show is a great talk radio show hosted by Joe Soucheray. We went over to the station and they posed for this picture with us and they signed the bike with markers, hahaha. I love it. You really should listen to the show. I think you can get it on their web site if you're not from St. Paul/Minneapolis. |
